Anu Rudra

I am Anu Rudra & I am an NLP Master Practitioner and Personal Transformation Coach. I live in Singapore and I started Anew Mind Anew You in 2017 with the ernest desire to be able to help people realize that it is never too late to transform oneself and achieve your desired goals. I have always been fascinated by the wonders of

Before I embarked on my journey in NLP Coaching, I worked in the corporate offices of two womenswear apparel retail companies as their Technical Designer in the U.S. and in apparel manufacturing in India. I have also successfully run my own business of clothing & handicrafts from India during my 4 years stay in Taipei as an expat.

When I am not Coaching, I love writing my blog, reading books, singing & enjoying music, cooking various cuisines and also trying out healthy salads to satisfy my foodie family, dabbling in learning Mandarin, playing Mahjong and doing Chinese brush painting. However, what I love the most is connecting one-on-one with near and dear ones.

the human mind and the fact that it is our mind that can create infinite capabilities and also our incompetencies and inabilities. I have been drawn to different ways of self-development and making transformational changes in my own life. To be an effective NLP Master Practitioner and Coach,  I trained with the unabridged NLP coursework with extensive practical learning. I trained with All in the Mind Asia & I am a member of NLP Association, Singapore.

 Unique Journeys

Everyone has a unique journey - a story, a struggle and goals – whether in the area of relationships, parenting, self-care, growth, career and so on. I can relate to many of these issues. Relocation anxiety (expatriation and repatriation) is quite commonplace in the life of expats. I should know, as our family has moved several times around the world and called different countries ‘home’. I was born and raised in India, and then lived, worked and have a home in USA. I have moved from familiar lifestyles and cultures to unknown places across the world. We lived in Taipei, Taiwan where hardly anyone ever spoke English and I have handled two of my personal hardships there and come out strong. I currently live in Singapore. The moves have brought with them feelings of utter uprooting, and then again, the power to bloom where planted. Having two children who are third culture kids (TCK), one a teenager and other a tween, has taught me that parenting joys are complexly woven with unique challenges. A child’s brain and body transformation during ages ranging as young as 10 years to as old as 25 years could bring with it profound adolescence issues, for some. Often we are dealing with parenting issues that were non-existent when we were growing up. There are so many opinions out there as to what is right and wrong about parenting that it can often lead to self-doubt whether one is truly doing a good job of being a parent.

Relocating several times has often left me limited choices for continuing old careers in my new home country. I have worked in different countries to know the various factors and especially the importance of cultural context in the success of our jobs. There have been the ups and downs of reinventing oneself as a woman. I have fallen and risen in my own judgement of self-worth & found the path to self discovery absolutely fascinating. I've found options for my own self-development only in the face of many setbacks. I’ve held straight and strong like a giant redwood when needed but also bent like the flexible bamboo tree, depending on the need of the hour. We live in a world of ladies-lunches and Friday drinks by the pool. A glass of wine or other addictions like retail therapy or binging on Netflix does not solve our problems. Social media do not create happiness, only a momentary high. In a world that showcases only partial snapshots of our lives through social media, it is often surprising how little we know about each other. With extended family members living far away from each other, often relationships issues can arise. Often times it is hard to know how to help someone who is dealing with depression or hopelessness. It is through my personal experiences & journey that I have grown and will continue to grow. Every fall or wrong turn on the path taught me something invaluable. NLP has made an enormous impact in my life. It is important to know that today is the first day of the  rest of your life.

AS YOUR COACH, LET ME MEET YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE IN YOUR UNIQUE JOURNEY & GUIDE YOU TO BE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF!

HABIT OF EXCELLENCE

We are what we repeatedly do.
Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.
